Seend C. of E. Primary School is celebrating a double success this month. They have achieved a Silver Award in Healthy Schools and in science teaching.
Thanks to the hard work of Mr Coleman and Miss Holland respectively, the submissions have been accepted and their hard work recognised.
“These awards recognise the commitment from our staff to delivering quality provision for the children at Seend,” explained headteacher Jackie Chalk.
“For both of these awards, the staff carried out an audit of current provision, identified an area for improvement, developed an action plan and then worked through the actions to achieve improved quality of provision. As a result, the children’s awareness of ways to keep themselves healthy, and their science skills and understanding, have all improved.”
