THERE’S non-stop entertainment at Melksham Assembly Hall with enthralling new shows and live music coming up over the coming weeks.
On Thursday 17th May, The Searchers take to the stage. Fans can expect classic hits such as, Sweets For My Sweet; Needles and Pins; Don’t Throw Your Love Away; Sugar and Spice and When You Walk In The Room.
With total record sales well in excess of 50 million, The Searchers still have great appeal to audiences of all ages. They tour the globe as much today as they have done throughout a fantastic career spanning five decades.
Combined with anecdotes and reminiscences, this fully self-contained concert includes all their famous hits, plus many album recordings, B-sides and a selection of other collector and well known favourites.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £21.
On Friday 25th May, the Assembly Hall welcomes Legend – The Music of Bob Marley, an unforgettable evening celebrating this musical icon in one fantastic stage show extravaganza.
Combining his superb, distinctive vocals with flawless musicianship, and a supremely talented cast, audience members can look forward to the timeless hits Could You Be Loved, Is This Love, One Love, No Woman No Cry, Three Little Birds, Jammin’, Buffalo Soldier, Stir It Up, Get Up Stand Up, Exodus, Waiting in Vain, Satisfy My Soul, Iron Lion Zion, I Shot the Sheriff and many more reggae classics.
This two-hour rasta spectacular, showcasing the magic of Marley, will leave audiences on a natural high. Legend – The Music of Bob Marley captures the charisma and culture of an icon gone too soon. The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £22.
