Over 160 people of all abilities took part in Melksham’s 26th parkrun last Saturday and to celebrate a very successful first six months, the whole core volunteer team ran.
Regular and new volunteers rose to the challenge, to make this possible for which the team are especially grateful. The post-run cafe at the old cricket pavilion served drinks, biscuits and other goodies and this will continue to be free until at least the end of the year. It relies on volunteers and donations of tea and coffee etc. or donations via the Melksham parkrun website, go to ‘About us’ from the ‘Links’ menu under the ‘more’ tab.
