Following an approach by a local employer, Melksham Without Parish Council is considering the transfer of a small part of Bowerhill sports field to facilitate the creation of additional employment.
If a decision is made for this to go ahead, then replacement recreation land of at least the same size will be secured for public use.
The parish council is seeking views of local residents at a public meeting prior to making an “in principle” decision.
The public meeting will be held on Wednesday 16th January at 6.30pm at Bowerhill Village Hall.
