Having already announced their two headlining bands, The Neville Staples Band at ParkFest (Friday 19th July) and Take@That at Melksham Party in the Park (PITP) (Saturday 20th July), organisers of PITP can now confirm three local acts that will be joining the lineup at Melksham’s King George V Playing Field, Lowbourne.
Organiser Bruce Burry says, “Indecision are a six piece, local band, who love their music. The creation of two crazy guys who invited other slightly mad, extremely upbeat….oh, and musically talented friends….to form the kind of band you want to party with!
“Folk Lift Truck are a high energy band playing songs to get you dancing. The band who hail from Bath and the surrounding area, are building a strong following based on making seeing a band an enjoyable experience, playing pop, rock and folk favourites with their own ‘Rockgrass’ feel! “Kirsty Clinch, is a pop singer/songwriter, with a country/folk twist, who has previously gigged in Nashville, Greece and Turkey. She says “I want to touch the hearts of many through my music, that’s my biggest dream.”
“She is described as having wise lyrics, beautiful melodies, angelic vocals and unique guitar playing skills. With her fiery red curls as well, she will make you stop, look and listen. She really has a presence on stage.
“Kirsty has been singing, writing and playing since the age of 7 and currently gigs often in the local area. She is also highly popular on social media, particularly Instagram with 50,000 followers and counting, and is looking to build up her other networks to the same standards.
