A DISTRACTION theft took place last week in a car park on Bath Road.
About the incident that took place on Friday 20th September at 6.30pm, police say, “Distraction theft – an elderly female who had just used a cashpoint and returned to her parked car in a car park was distracted by a male who spoke little English stating she had a flat tyre. In the distraction the victim’s purse was stolen.
