LOCAL fundraiser, Tracie Winslow, has presented a cheque for £3,100 to Bath’s Royal United Hospital cancer care unit.
The money was raised at a sponsored walk and live music event in Bowerhill held in September to mark the 20th anniversary of the hospital’s charity, The Forever Friends Appeal.
Tracie said, “We raised a fabulous £3,100 in the end, to go to the Nicola Robertson tribute fund, in memory of my friend who died of cancer six years ago.
“Raising this money also took the total amount of money I have raised over the £10,000 mark, thanks to four events I have held for cancer charities.
“I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me, donated and helped in any way.”
