ANTICIPATION is building for the town’s Christmas lights switch-on after the arrival of the Christmas tree.
This year’s Christmas fayre will take place this Saturday, 7th December, from 2pm to 6.30pm in the Market Place and the Assembly Hall. The big switch on of the town’s Christmas lights will be at 5pm.
This year’s tree, provided by a specialist supplier in Newbury, is sponsored by New Resource Recruitment, who are based in the Market Place, where the tree has pride of place.
They say, “New Resource Recruitment are proud to be sponsoring this year’s Christmas tree and thank Paul Weymouth and all the volunteers for their outstanding work, despite some of the challenges they have faced.
“New Resource Recruitment support local businesses with permanent and temporary staff. We are based locally at number 17, Market Place.”
