THERE’S non-stop entertainment at Melksham Assembly Hall in the coming weeks including a visit from ‘Britain’s favourite footballer’ Paul ‘Gazza’ Gascoigne, a rock & roll legends evening and Monsters of Rock 80s night.
On Friday 31st January, there are still tickets available to spend the evening with Paul Gascoigne, hosted by one of the circuits top comedians, Jed Stone.
The legendary former Tottenham Hotspur, Rangers, Lazio, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Everton and England midfielder will recount stories from an incredible career; from Italia ’90, winning the FA Cup at Wembley, playing against Diego Maradona, and also delve into some of the antics and darker times that have and have not made the tabloids.
The evening will also feature a charity auction, profits of which will be donated to local charity, Raising for Raife. The evening starts at 8pm. Tickets range from £35-£55.
If music is more your thing, visit the Assembly Hall on Friday 7th February for an evening of ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll’ paradise!
Celebrating their 10th year on the road, Rock ‘n’ Roll Paradise brings their Lost Legends tour to Melksham, featuring an amazing number of tributes to the all-time legends of rock n roll.
Organisers say, “Each performance will be unique, bringing to life the music of iconic giants of rock n roll including Buddy Holly, Gene Vincent, Jerry Lee Lewis, the Big Bopper, Eddie Cochran, Ricky Nelson, Connie Francis, Brenda Lee and of course the King himself, Elvis.
“Two hours of the very best tribute artists, bringing the magic from an era that changed the music world forever.”
Doors open at 6.30pm, show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets £20.
On Saturday 8th February the UK Monsters of Rock show will transport you back to the 80s heyday of classic rock, combining the feel of a rock festival with the atmosphere of a top end rock arena tour.
Organisers say, “Expect fireworks, amazing lighting and exacting attention to detail as this amazing five piece band, who have numerous recording credits and having travelled the Globe extensively, re-create hits from rock gods such as Journey, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Kiss, AC/DC, Van Halen ……and many more! If you are a fan of live classic rock this is the show for you.”
