MELKSHAM’S netballers are celebrating success for its 3rd division team – and are inviting new members to join!
The group reports, “Melksham Ravens came out on top winning 31 – 28 after a nail-biting match against Fitz on Tuesday (4th February) evening at Devizes Sports Centre.
“Congratulations go to Victoria Rolph position WA who got player of the match and her mum Mel Rolph position GD who got players’ player of the match.
“Melksham Netball has two teams that currently play in the Moonraker League. The Robins are in the Premier Division and the Ravens are currently 5th in the 3rd Division. The ladies train on a Monday night 7pm – 9pm at The Melksham Oak Community School, SN12 6QZ.
“We would love to have more members. All abilities welcome. For anyone interested in joining whether it’s to play in the league or just to come to training – you will receive the first two sessions free. If you are new to the area it is a great way to meet new friends. For further details call 07752 270 359.”
