MELKSHAM Assembly Hall has organised a ‘Lockdown Festival’ featuring local people singing, dancing and playing an instrument.

“Anyone can upload their videos of themselves singing, dancing, playing any instrument etc since lockdown,” explained Bruce Burry, Duty Manager at the Assembly Hall.
“It’s all for fun and no one is judged. You don’t need to bring your brollies to The Lockdown Festival. Stay in, stay safe and enjoy yourself!
“We have had a good response from local people and anyone can join in. We have been mentioned on BBC1’s Point West, Radio Bristol and Radio 2’s Jeremy Vine show.
“In fact it’s gone so well we are already planning a Lockdown Festival event at the Assembly Hall inviting the performers when things get back to normal.”
