Melksham Town Hall joined buildings and attractions around the world lighting up in orange in support of an eight-month old girl with acute myeloid leukaemia.
The story of Azaylia Cain, who is the daughter of ex-Coventry City footballer Ashley Cain, has captured the world’s attention – buildings across the UK including Wembley Stadium and the London Eye; and world landmarks such as Niagara Falls and the CN Tower in Toronto, all showed their support last week.
The Town Hall was lit up on Wednesday 21st April 21st, which also coincided with World Acute Myeloid Leukaemia Awareness Day.
Sadly, it was announced days later, on Sunday 25th April, by her parents that Azaylia had died. For more information, visit: https:// know- aml.com/ en/get-involved/world-awareness-day
