MELKSHAM’S mayor is reminding residents that there are plenty of great Christmas gift ideas and festive items you can pick up in town.
Mayor Terri Welch is urging people to shop locally to support the town and continue a positive year for Melksham. Cllr Welch said, “ Everything from Christmas gifts to Christmas trees are on offer right on your doorstop and it is possible to grab your festive essentials, or a quality gift, quickly and easily. Melksham is lucky to have a variety of retailers with excellent product knowledge and customer service. Some of these are visible on the High Street and some are tucked away. If you haven’t found the perfect item yet please mosey on down; I’m sure you’ll find what you are after! Pop into shops in the town to select a festive gift, buy a gift voucher from a local business, or browse homemade crafts and homemade cakes at a local market or Christmas fair. Melksham has a lot to offer.
