MELKSHAM Town Council is inviting local groups and organisations to apply for grant funding.
The town council says, “Melksham Town Council allocates funding every year to community groups and charities that benefit the people of Melksham.
“Last year over £60,000 was awarded to a variety of clubs, groups, projects and initiatives in Melksham.
“The grant scheme has been reviewed this year, and now instead of one round of applications per year, the council will be accepting small grant applications quarterly. This is to make the funding more accessible, especially to smaller groups, throughout the year. The first round of applications is open now, with a deadline of Thursday 24 June.
“The new application form is on the town council website, along with the policy explaining the process.”
