FIVE people, including one person from Melksham, have been summonsed to court in relation to the Avon Vale Hunt disorder in December.
The hunt took place in Lacock during the morning of 27th December last year.
The police report, “Following extensive enquiries, the following people have now been summonsed to court for Section 4 Public Order offences: Adrian Earl, 52, from Calne; Callum Lewis, 26, from Westbury; Evan Lorne, 18, from Melksham; Andrew Purbrick, 59, from Westbury; and William Renny, 30 from Westbury.
“All five men are due to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on 6th April.
“We’ve undertaken a review of our policing approach regarding this incident and, upon the conclusion of these criminal proceedings, we will publish a summary of this review.”
