WHITE Horse Opera will be bringing their production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s two act comic opera, Ruddigore, or The Witch’s Curse, to St. Mary’s Church in Broughton Gifford next month.
About the performance on Friday 6th May, organisers say, “Set in the Cornish village of Rederring, this is a tale of evil baronets and fair maidens. It includes such unlikely choruses as unemployed bridesmaids and aristocratic ghosts and overflows with witty lyrics and jaunty music.
“The performance will begin at 7.30pm and a full house is expected as the number of seats is limited.”
Tickets are available in advance at £10 from The Bell on the Common in Broughton Gifford, Holt Superstore and online from: www.ticketsource.co.uk/whitehorseopera
Should there be any available on the night, tickets will cost £12. Further information is available from Christopher Fielden on 01225 782509.
