A WEDDING fayre with a difference is to take place at the Kings Arms this weekend as visitors will also be able to see around a possible venue for their wedding.
The hotel, which is currently under new management, has a civil licence that allows them to perform ceremonies, so visitors to the wedding fayre can see what the aisle would look like should they choose to get married at the Kings Arms.
The function room will also be decorated with different table styles to allow future married couples to see how they would want their table decorations.
Landlord Jade Lundean said, “We hope to give those that come along a taste of what their wedding will look like, as well as the wedding rooms we have available, so they can piece together more of their big day.
“Our function room is ideal too for those that maybe just want the after party or even a before party – it is an area that is worth seeing, along with our set up aisle and great rooms.
“We have already taken quite a few bookings for this year and next, so I would advise anyone to come and have a look and see what they think. We tailor the needs of those getting married so we don’t have a set price, but cost is depending on the visitors so people aren’t overpriced.”
The wedding fayre takes place on Sunday 13th April from 10am-4pm. All exhibitors are based locally.
