MELKSHAM News took to the skies last month for a special jubilee moment at Forest and Sandridge School.

Whilst over 400 pupils at the local primary school formed a giant ‘70’ in the playground in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Melksham News’ operations manager, Joe McCann, was transported 20 feet in to the air using high platform equipment to take the photo.
“This was a really fun way to kick off our jubilee coverage,” said Joe. “We want to say a big thank you to Forest and Sandridge C.E Primary School for letting us be part of their day, and also to local business, Light Fantastic – Event & Entertainment Lighting, for helping us out with their equipment. Plus, a huge well done to all the children, who stood still for long enough to make it happen!”
