“Below are three choices for you to choose from, please let me know your choice and I will action this as soon as possible.

“Transfer to the Bowerhill Bomber (Winter), the same route but slightly muddier in February. For more info visit: www.entrycentral.com/festival/1547

“Transfer to my next event The Carnival Chase, a lovely route in Warminster in September. For more info visit: www.entrycentral. com/festival/1951

“Or a full refund. Thank you for your continuous support and for your understanding. I look forward to seeing you soon.”

The Carnival Chase is taking place on 4th September this year while the Winter Bowerhill Bomber is taking place on 26th February next year.

The Carnival Chase in Warminster is a picturesque run will take you down country lanes, tracks and trails, and starts and finish by the boating lake.

The Winter Bowerhill Bomber is a 10k or 5k race which takes runners across country lanes, fields, towpaths- expect lots of mud.

During an emergency debate at full council on Tuesday 20th October, councillors overwhelmingly backed a motion condemning the decision and demanding continued investment in the key north-south route. They also called for the more than £500,000 the council has spent developing the scheme to be refunded.

It follows outline planning permission being granted earlier this year for the warehouse and office development, which the company says will be a major investment in the town and create hundreds of jobs.
