THE popular Bowerhill Bomber 10k and 5k summer run has been cancelled this year, with organisers saying it has been called off for personal reasons. The event was scheduled to take place on Sunday 31st July.
The organisers, Redfish Events are offering refunds for runners as well as giving people the option to transfer their place to an upcoming race in the future.
“Due to unforeseeable circumstances, I have to regrettably cancel the Bowerhill Bomber 10K and 5K summer run,” said Tracey Hyde of Redfish Events. “I know you are going to be very disappointed, as am I.
“Below are three choices for you to choose from, please let me know your choice and I will action this as soon as possible.
“Transfer to the Bowerhill Bomber (Winter), the same route but slightly muddier in February. For more info visit: www.entrycentral.com/festival/1547
“Transfer to my next event The Carnival Chase, a lovely route in Warminster in September. For more info visit: www.entrycentral. com/festival/1951

The Carnival Chase is taking place on 4th September this year while the Winter Bowerhill Bomber is taking place on 26th February next year.
The Carnival Chase in Warminster is a picturesque run will take you down country lanes, tracks and trails, and starts and finish by the boating lake.
The Winter Bowerhill Bomber is a 10k or 5k race which takes runners across country lanes, fields, towpaths- expect lots of mud.
