Melksham Rugby Minis and Juniors welcomed the local Rainbow and Brownies units recently, to have fun with coaches Pete and Phil.
The event was part of the club’s wider plan to give back to the local community and showcase its facilities.
Sharing the success of welcoming the girls onto the field and reaching out to other local groups who may want to have a go at the sport, youth chair Phil Dwyer said, “It was a great evening of training for the girls, lots of laughter and fun was had.
“This is all part of the rugby club’s bigger plan to give back to the local community whilst showcasing our amazing facilities. If any other local groups might be interested in the rugby club running a session for them please get in touch.”
