LOCAL business, Tops Hair and Beauty Salon, is inviting the community to take part in their Christmas raffle and be in with the chance to win a Marks and Spencer Christmas hamper worth £150.
The proceeds will be donated to Melksham Free Dining. A raffle square can be purchased for £2 or £5 in the salon at number 5 the High Street.
One of the owners of Tops and weekly volunteer at Melksham Free Dining, Victoria said, “I have been volunteering at Melksham Free Dining for the past year now and I can see first-hand how the proceeds can help people directly. I initially joined when looking after my elderly aunt during Covid. I said I could take her along and volunteer, and I have ended up being there for a year, helping serve the meals, chatting with people and singing with them. For some people who attend, we could be the only people they speak to all week. Also, thanks to Ali at Townsend Design and Print for making the raffle chart!”
