A DISUSED telephone box in Berryfield Park could become home to the community’s third defibrillator, as Melksham Without Parish Council explore plans about how to refurbish the space to meet the needs of the community.
There are currently two other defibrillators in Berryfield; one in the new village hall and another one at the New Inn. Speaking about these potential plans MWPC clerk, Teresa Strange said, “We are currently looking at the cost to refurb the telephone box and putting a defibrillator in there. There are already two, but we are exploring a third one, so the people living nearby feel they have some close.”
The parish council will update with plans when these have been agreed.
