Clerk And Responsible Financial Officer to the Parish Council
PART-TIME VACANCY
Broughton Gifford Parish Council are looking for a part-time Clerk / Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) to support the smooth running of our Parish Council.
10-15 hours a week, Scale 18-23 (£14.21p/h – £15.67p/h) plus a work from home allowance. Salary based on skills, experience and qualifications ni line with NJC Local Government Services Salary.
Apart from obligatory attendance at our evening meetings once a month. this is a work-home role and you will need space to store council paperwork. (Storage space will potentially be available in the future.)
Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills are essential, as are personal qualities of integrity, discretion, and impartiality. You will be a good communicator and strong, well organised administrator: a working knowledge of local governance and/or public sector administration, whilst desirable, is not essential as training will be available, and your development fully supported.
If not already held, you must be willing to attain either, or both, the iLCA and CiLCA within 18 months.
