Honorary Secretary for The Melksham Almshouses Charities
Flexible hours working from home.
Salary £3,000pa (Paid Monthly) Approximately 37 Hours Per Quarter
The Melksham Almshouses Charities are administered by a Board of Trustees and provide long-term accommodation for 5 local people aged 50 who live independently and are deemed to be in need of accommodation. In addition, the charities are able to give grants to local organisations.
The successful applicant will have appropriate secretarial, administration and finance experience and will report directly to the Board of Trustees at quarterly meetings. Duties will include arranging the meetings and agendas, taking and acting on the minutes, and liaising with letting agents and external accountants, the Charity Commission and the Almshouses Association.
