Pupils, families and staff from Aloeric School came together to raise over £2,000 at an under-the-sea-themed summer fayre.
Arranged by the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), the fayre took place on Friday 7th June, and featured stalls, bouncy castles, donkey rides and more, with the aim of raising money for new play equipment for the school.
Natasha Young, member of the PTA, said, “We really want to raise lots of money to replace some of the playground equipment so that was our main target for the fayre and we’ve managed to raise £2,200. We need to raise about £5,000 in total and we are nearly there.
“We would like to thank everyone for coming and making the event such a success. It would not have been possible without the help of local companies SS Carpentry, SSE, Louma Events, Menghini Moments, Tasha’s Sweet Treats and Kelly’s Donkeys who offered their support and resources.”
