A musician from Melksham, Joseph Patrick Brown, took to the stage at Glastonbury Festival last week, performing four sets over four days in the music space in Earth Circle in the Healing Fields.
Joseph, known offstage as Joe, joined hundreds of other performers at the world-renowned festival, which included headline acts Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA. The singer-songwriter performed songs from his new album, Do What You’ve Always Done, which was recorded in Nine Volt Leap’s studios in Melksham.
Speaking to Melksham News at the festival, Joe said, “It’s great here, it’s just a brilliant vibe. The great thing about performing music here is people happen upon you; they walk by and you hopefully captivate them. It’s a little stage, not quite the Pyramid yet, but I’m working on it!
“It’s great to represent Melksham. Dominic Bailey-Clay, who is a very talented producer from Nine Volt Leap in Melksham, is also here doing sound for various bands, so it’s great to see representation from Melksham here
