Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity is holding its annual ‘Summer at the Base’ funday this month to celebrate 35 years of service.
The day will be held at the airbase in Semington this Saturday, 16th August, from 12pm to 4pm on the front lawn, with a prime view of the helipad and helicopter (subject to operations).
There will be fun-filled activities for all ages including appearances from the cuddly mascots, paramedic bear Wilber and pilot bear Marsha, CPR demonstrations, games and plenty of food and refreshment stalls available.
Entry to the event costs £5 per adult and children under 12 enter for £1.
“We are excited to be holding our second Summer at the Base event, this year celebrating our 35th anniversary,” says Chloe Holtom, event planner at Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity. “It’s a chance to celebrate the vital work we do together with the local community. The support we receive from these events help us be there when we’re needed most.”
There will also be a selection of local traders to browse, offering everything from handcrafted jewellery, gifts and sustainable stationery to a fully licensed bar, baked treats and pet supplies.
