MELKSHAM Town Council is offering the chance for someone to join the team in a apprentice role for the first time in the council’s history.
The council is inviting applications to apply for the role of business administration apprentice.
Mayor of Melksham, cllr Adrienne Westbrook, said, “We are delighted to offer this apprenticeship in business administration for the first time ever. This is a great opportunity that could lead to a level 2 NVQ qualification and a Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA).”
The new apprentice role will involve supporting the team at the Town Hall with enquiries from the public by phone, in person and by post; assisting with financial and general administration; updating the council’s website and social media pages; and other administrative tasks.
