From a performance by the legendary Tony Christie, the Mayor’s Reception and a high-energy performance of music from the 50s and 60s, the Melksham Assembly Hall has a full line-up for spring.
An Evening of Mediumship – 12th March
Organisers say, “mediums will merge two worlds bringing messages from your loved ones in spirit.”
Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start.
The Mayor’s Reception – 14th March
Join Melksham’s Mayor Saffi Rabey for a Spanish-themed evening to raise funds for domestic abuse charity FearFree and Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity.
With Spanish-themed entertainment and food, the annual Melksham Civic Awards will also be handed out celebrating the spirit of community.
The event runs from 7pm to 11pm.
At the Hop – Neil Sands and the Jukebox Jems – 10th April

This is a high-energy musical theatre celebration of the greatest hits from the 50s and 60s. You will be transported back to the ‘swinging sixties’, relive Motown memories and the ‘summer of love.’
Organisers say, “Whether you’re a teen at heart or reliving your glory days, At the Hop is the ultimate feel-good trip down memory lane. Join us for a night of music, memories, and magic! Let the Jukebox Jems bring the hits of yesterday to life today.”
The event will start at 7.30pm.
The Carpenters Experience – 17th April

The UK’s leading Carpenters show featuring the voice of professional singer Maggie Nestor and eight top-class musicians, capturing the sights and sounds of the talents of Richard and Karen Carpenter. The event will start at 7.30pm.
Tony Christie – 23rd April

The legendary star, Tony Christie, will be performing in Melksham as part of his ‘The Great Farewell’ tour. Tony Christie’s successful career has spanned six decades, including playing on the iconic Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
The tour is a celebration of his 60+ year career. Despite living with dementia, the national treasure continues to entertain audiences around the world.
The event will start at 7.30pm.
Classic Rock Revival – 25th April
Relive the glory days of classic rock from the 60s, 70s and 80s. A full eight-piece band will bring a high-energy show with hits from bands including Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles and many more.
The event will start at 7.30pm.
