A local garage owner has raised more than £1,300 for Dorothy House Hospice Care, a charity close to his heart, after running the Bath Half Marathon.
Michael Barbieri, owner of Classic Motors in Melksham, completed the event on Sunday 15th March in one hour and 54 minutes.
He raised £1,338 for the hospice that provided end-of-life care for his dad in 2017.
The half marathon was a first for Michael, who said he had never really run before. After enjoying the challenge, he now has three 10km races planned for later this year.
