Free weekly yoga sessions have returned to Melksham’s park this month, with over 60 people rolling out their mats for the first class on Sunday 3rd May.
Park Yoga will be held every Sunday in King George V Park (KGV) until 13th September.
Instructor Hannah Blueitt said, “It is brilliant to be able to welcome people back to Park Yoga this year. The first session saw us packed with over 60 attendees.
“It was lovely to see returning friends alongside new members joining the Park Yoga movement. Everyone is welcome on a Sunday morning in KGV at 9.30am.”
The sessions are organised by the charity Park Yoga, which runs free community park yoga sessions on Sunday mornings across the country.
The sessions are for all ages and abilities, with various postures helping to improve mobility and flexibility, alongside calming breathing exercises, offering a chance to do gentle exercise outdoors.
No booking is required; people can just turn up on the day. The sessions run from 9.30am to 10.30am. Bring a yoga mat or towel and look out for the large Park Yoga flag.
