More than £16,000 in cash and quantities of Class B and Class C drugs have been seized during police raids at two addresses in Melksham.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of drug-related offences following the simultaneous Misuse of Drugs Act warrants on Wednesday 30th September.
Officers from Melksham’s Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the addresses, supported by colleagues from Trowbridge and Warminster and the Neighbourhood Tasking Team following intelligence around drug dealing.
Both men have since been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said, “As always, we encourage residents to continue reporting information and concerns to us. Information from our communities is invaluable in helping us understand where problems are occurring and take appropriate action.
“We will continue to work alongside our communities, local partners and businesses to help keep Melksham and the surrounding villages safe and enjoyable places to live, work and visit.”
