A village primary school is holding a rainforest-themed scarecrow trail this month.
St Mary’s School in Broughton Gifford is hosting the trail in their Wild Woods school garden on Saturday 17th October from 10am to 4pm.
Participants will be challenged to find the hidden animal scarecrows and solve clues along the route for a chance to win a prize.
Donkey rides will also be offered through the school’s woods.
Cakes and drinks will be available throughout the day.
Organisers say, “Come and discover all the amazing animals of the St Mary’s Wild Woods Rainforest and explore our wonderful grounds!”
The school will be open during the event for prospective parents to look around and find out more about starting Reception in September 2027 or in-year transfers.
