ORGANISERS of Melksham Christmas Fayre have asked parents and guardians to be mindful of the opening times of Santa’s Grotto.
The grotto will be open from 2pm to 3.45pm at the town’s Christmas Fayre on Saturday 5th December. No children will be allowed to enter after 3.45pm, to ensure there is no clash with the lights switch-on at 5pm.
Organiser Pat Weymouth said, “’Can we make children’s guardians hoping to visit Santa’s Grotto at the fayre aware of the fact that any queue will unfortunately have to be closed at 3.45pm. We apologise in advance if this causes anyone any inconvenience or disappointment, but we have to help Santa at this very busy time of the year for him. We hope you all understand.”
