THE Pig and Whistle on Forest Road has more acoustic music lined up for the coming weeks, with a singaround this weekend and a charity gig in March.
The next event will be an acoustic singaround session from 8pm this Sunday 28th February.
Organiser Adrian Edwards said, “It will be relaxed, easy-going group of people singing/playing songs in turn. Beginners and more experienced performers are welcome to do a song, or join in, or just listen.”
There will then be a live music night on Saturday 5th March from 8pm. Entry will be free, but there will be a collection for Prostate Cancer UK for those who wish to donate.
Adrian said, “We’ve got four great acts, mainly acoustic-style, playing a variety of songs from classic to contemporary. There are two duos, a solo singer/guitarist, and a four-piece band. Expect lots of vocal harmonies!”
