MEMBERS of the Melksham Branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL) held a 1940s event at the Rowdey Cow in Rowde last month, raising £640.
Sue Horton, Kim Topp and Sue Thompson organised the event to raise money for the RBL. Anthony Horton said, “Sue Thompson opened up the cafe, ice cream parlour and Sue Horton and Kim Topp with re-enactors, family and friends had a fun time, dancing and singing to wartime music whilst enjoying the yummy ice cream.”
