WILTSHIRE Air Ambulance’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will review the last 25 years as well as looking ahead to the future.
A number of short films will be shown at the AGM, including of patients airlifted by Wiltshire Air Ambulance (WAA).
The AGM is on Wednesday 18th May from 7.00 to 8.00pm at The Trinity CE Primary Academy, Quakers Road, Devizes. The school has kindly provided the venue free of charge. BBC Wiltshire lunchtime presenter Graham Seaman will be hosting the AGM and has given his services for free.
David Philpott, chief executive of WAA said, “At our annual general meeting we will be reflecting on the key milestones of Wiltshire Air Ambulance over the last 25 years. This includes becoming a stand-alone air ambulance for the first time in its history in 2015, whilst flying our new state-of-the-art Bell 429 helicopter.
“We will also look forward to what the future holds for the charity, including our proposed new home at Outmarsh Farm, Semington.
“Our staff, trustees and aircrew are really proud that this essential helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) receives the generous support of the public and businesses to ensure that it continues to fly and save lives in Wiltshire and surrounding counties.”
As well as the formal business of approving the annual accounts, there will also be a presentation on fundraising and an opportunity to ask questions of the trustees.
