Confused by rail fares? Put off because it’s expensive? It might not be as expensive (or confusing) as you think, say the Melksham Rail User Group.
“We will be pleased to welcome Guy Watts, Great Western Railway’s fares implementation manager, at our public meeting on Wednesday 22nd January at 19:30 at the United Church to give a short talk and answer your questions of fares.
“At this first meeting of the year, we’ll have a full agenda, looking forward to developments at the station this year and at the probability of significant bus changes in Melksham and how our community can best ask that those changes help make the buses more effective in serving our community.
“Example fare – £21 for 3 adults (that’s £7 each) day return to Clifton Down, Bristol. Any train after 08:00.
“Questions for Guy in advance if possible, please – and any other questions – to Graham Ellis via info@mrug.org.uk
