THE annual Angel Festival, hosted by St Michael and All Angels’ Church, will be held in the church from Sunday 27th September to Saturday 3rd October.
The organisers say, “The angels will be blessed at the 10.15am service and the church will be open to all to view the angels from 10.30am to 4.30pm daily. We will be open until 7.30pm on St Michael’s Day, which is known as Michaelmas, on the Wednesday evening, when a reflective service will be held in celebration. Refreshments will be available throughout the week.
“The week will end with a Michaelmas Fayre on Saturday 3rd October from 10.30am to 4.30pm, with stalls and games for all the family, barbecue, cream teas and refreshments.
“If you or your organisation would like to be part of the fun by creating an angel for displaying in the church during the festival or by taking a stall at the fayre, please pick up an entry form from St Michael’s Church, Tourist Information Centre, Art House Café and other outlets in town.
“But most of all, come and enjoy the fun!”
