THE Assembly Hall welcomed cacti and succulents of many different shapes and sizes on Saturday 15th June.
The annual cactus show, organised by the British Cactus and Succulent Society’s Wiltshire Branch welcomed enthusiasts and newcomers alike to take part in buying, selling and judging of a huge variety of different plants.
Judge David Neville from Hampshire and steward Martin Richards made their way around the entered plants, overseen by club chairman and secretary Derek May.
It was also exciting for the young fans. Daisy-Mae and Tiger-Joe Griffin are avid collectors and growers of cacti and succulents. During the event, they picked up their biggest and most expensive one to date, a £15 succulent!
