Appeal after recent graffiti in Melksham

PC Kane Fulbrook-Smith, community beat manager for Melksham reports on a recent act of vandalism in the town. 

He said, “Between Monday 26th July and Wednesday 30th July, mindless individuals have vandalised the soft play area of Methuen Avenue Play Park. Obscene images and offensive words were sprayed over the picnic tables and children’s slide.

“This is a child’s play area and certainly the children should not be subjected to this sort of imagery.

“Please contact your Local Neighbourhood Policing Team if you have any information that could assist in identifying any persons involved in this act of vandalism.”
