Police are appealing for information after jewellery and cash was stolen during a burglary in Beanacre.
Between 6pm and 9.50pm on 13 September, a house in Westlands Lane was broken into.
Some of the jewellery stolen includes: 22ct gold court shape wedding ring, 18ct gold three stone diamond claw set ring, Ruby earrings, 9ct Accurist watch and matching bracelet set, 18c gold diamond line bracelet.
PC Nige Gilbert said, “This burglary has understandably been extremely upsetting and distressing for the elderly victim.
“I’d like to appeal to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious people or vehicles in the area between the hours of 6pm and 11pm on 13 September. You may have information which could help us with our enquiries.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if preferred.
