A FLAG-making workshop will be held this Saturday, 1st February, at the Town Hall.
Anyone feeling ‘crafty’ is welcome to come along to help the Melksham in Bloom team prepare for this summer’s display.
From the group, Terri Welch said, “The flags we will be making are the ones for the Market Place. Following the very successful medieval flags, there will be a theme to work to.
“We have a core group but would welcome newcomers, people with design ideas, basic sewing skills and others to back them up. The group very much work together, bouncing ideas and tips between each other. Good plain sewers are needed as we have plans to make bunting for the town.
“A large amount of work goes into this project which is on show throughout the summer and helps make Melksham stand out as a town with a strong community.”
The flag making workshop will be held this Saturday, 1st February, at the Town Hall from 1pm to 3pm.
