ATWORTH History Group will welcome Julian Orbach to give a talk about the buildings of Wiltshire on Monday 1st November.
The group explain, “He has recently written a book (The Buildings of England: Wiltshire) that revises and updates one written in 1963 by a historian called Nikolaus Pevsner, so Mr Orbach’s talk entitled “Pevsner Revisited” will bring further insight into the architectural heritage of our county.
“We meet in Atworth Village Hall at 7.30pm, and visitors are very welcome for the reasonable fee of £3.
“We also have a full programme of speakers arranged for next year, so watch this space for more details.”
