Twenty eight celebrated Halloween at the October Tea wearing black and orange and sporting an assortment of spooky witch hats.
A prize of a hairdressing voucher was given to the winner of the cauldron game. This event was sponsored by Waitrose who kindly donated cakes for the group on this fun occasion.
The September Tea was generously sponsored by Whitehall Garden Centre. Twenty seven attended and were welcomed back following the summer break.
This community support is hugely appreciated as everyone tucks into a range of delicious cakes and has a lovely afternoon with their friends. Thank you to all who help and to everyone who comes.
Atworth Over 55s Afternoon Tea is an occasion for all 55s and over to meet together with friends old and new for an enjoyable afternoon of tea, coffee and cakes.
The next one will be held on Wednesday 9th November 3 – 4.30 pm at the Atworth Institute Village Hall. If you haven’t been before, please come along. You will be made most welcome. Just call in. For Atworth villagers a lift can be arranged by phoning Effie on 01225 702228.
