Melksham author, Ted Tayler, released the ninth book in The Phoenix series last month.
Revenge Comes In Many Colours’ is available on Amazon in both paperback and kindle versions, along with his other 14 titles.
“This ninth thriller in the Phoenix series focuses on justice and revenge,” said Ted, “there’s non-stop action as Olympus agents strike in Scotland, and the North East. The excitement never lets up as the vigilante organisation battles organised crime, and step by step, the Olympus story approaches its final instalments. There are three more books to come in 2018 to bring the series to a close.
“What are the features of the Phoenix thrillers? Well, life is all about balance isn’t it? Good and evil, love and loss, laughter and tears. The Phoenix believes criminals should pay for their crimes; the system often fails to deliver the correct punishment. Olympus agents help him redress the balance.
“The past 18 months have been terrific. Downloads of the first book in the series ‘The Olympus Project’ topped 15,000 and in the last three months, a boxed set of the first four books has seen 7,000 copies in the hands of readers in the USA, Canada, India, Australia, Europe and the UK. It’s a long, hard road and 90% of an indie author’s time is spent on marketing. The writing is the easy part.
“A massive amount of work has gone into the past five years, and more of the same in 2018 might be where that hard work pays off for me. The competition is tough, so nothing is certain. I’m one of over 275,000 thriller writers around the world hunting for readers in that genre. To quote the motto of The Phoenix Club where my readers receive a monthly newsletter – ‘Onwards and upwards’ – after all, if you give up, you never get anywhere.”
