The Autism Awareness evening held at Boomerang on Thursday 3rd July was a great success and enjoyed by all who attended.
Children were invited from all Melksham schools that have a diagnoses and /or a statement of Autism.
There were children and their families from The Manor School, Kings Park Academy, Forest and Sandridge School and Bowerhill School who came and joined in for an evening of soft play, socializing, delicious food and relevant and helpful information provided by professionals from Wiltshire Parent Carer Council and Spurgeons Young Carers Wiltshire.
Jo Holdway, special educational needs parent support advisor said, “I hope to be able to run this event again as many parents found this evening to be very beneficial to them and their children.
“Thank you to all who attended and supported this event. It was a great to see you all there!”
