40 people attended a ballroom dance at Melksham Conservative Club on Good Friday in memory of Michele Phillips who was tragically killed in a car crash in Devon on Good Friday 19 years ago (9th April 2004).
As well as dancing there was an Easter bonnet competition which was won by Helen Hall and Tony Andrews, with Sue Whyte and Margaret Outlaw as runners up. “It really was a very enjoyable evening and thanks to everyone’s support, £103 was raised for Wiltshire Air Ambulance,” said Sue Mortimer, one of the organisers. “Thanks also go to the steward of the Conservative Club for accommodating us.”
