MELKSHAM News delivery person, Bernie Avery, has climbed all 274 steps of Jacob’s Ladder in Cheddar to raise money for charity.
By completing the challenge, which had been on her ‘to-do list’ for some time, Bernie has raised approximately £450 for the Down’s Syndrome Association, a charity she is passionate about.
“Bernie is well known in the community as she delivers the Melksham News and most of her sponsors are customers,” said a person close to Bernie.
